Jeremy Salzano

Jeremy is a senior commercial transactions lawyer supporting clients in a broad range of industry sectors. His clients include publicly listed and privately held companies and local government and statutory bodies.

Jeremy specialises in commercial negotiations, advice and drafting with a particular emphasis on mitigating the legal risks inevitably arising from commercial dealings. He is the Director in charge of our commercial transactions team.

Before founding O’Donnell Salzano Lawyers some 20 years ago, Jeremy worked in large private legal practices and in house with a telecommunications multi-national.

Carole Timmins

Carole is a senior lawyer with extensive experience in general commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She has acted in proceedings in all Victorian and Federal courts and also interstate superior courts. Carole also practices in administrative law and has represented numerous statutory authorities and professional regulators. In addition to these areas of practice, Carole has substantial expertise in general commercial law and transactions.

James Rashleigh

James is a senior commercial and property lawyer and has particular expertise in complex property dealings, commercial leasing, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, corporate structuring and commercial contracts.

James acts for a broad base of clients ranging from publicly listed companies, statutory bodies and local councils to private individuals.

Frank O'Donnell

Frank has extensive expertise and experience in all areas of commercial litigation. Along with Jeremy Salzano, he founded O'Donnell Salzano Lawyers more than 20 years ago and headed a strong commercial dispute resolution team. Frank is now Special Counsel at O'Donnell Salzano Lawyers and has a wealth of expertise based on a career conducting litigation in all jurisdictions in all States and Territories of Australia, and across a broad range of areas including:

Christopher Dale OAM

Chris has extensive experience in all areas of Commercial Litigation and ADR, Insolvency and Reconstruction and Taxation Litigation.

Chris has practised in all Courts and Tribunals in all Australian States and Territories, and the Federal Level and High Court. Chris is a former President of the Law Institute of Victoria.

On Australia Day 2019 Chris was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for Service to the Law.

Carlo Massola

Since 1994 Carlo operated the legal practice of Massola Creighton Lawyers, which has now merged with O’Donnell Salzano Lawyers. Prior to that he was a partner in the large law firm that is today known as Norton Rose Fulbright.

Carlo is a senior commercial property lawyer and has worked on many large and complex property transactions, including commercial property leasing, sub-divisions, major property project development, corporate mergers and acquisitions and financing.

Michael Arnold

Michael has been with O'Donnell Salzano Lawyers since 2018 and works across all areas of the practice.

Prior to joining O'Donnell Salzano Lawyers, Michael was a Judge's Associate and worked on District and Supreme Court matters, including civil and criminal trials and appeals. He has also worked with the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission, the SA Crown Solicitor's Office, and the South Australian Law Reform Institute, and has completed clerkships with leading law firms.

Michael has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Politics and International Studies) from the University of Adelaide, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. While studying, Michael participated in mooting and undertook an Internship with a member of the South Australian Parliament.
